Context
A weekend UI challenge with my teammate Jorge Garcia Formoso: reimagining Twitch’s Android app. We approached it with humility, but saw clear room to make browsing livelier and navigation clearer.
Solution
Home page — a sidebar with followed streamers and recommendations, horizontally scrollable stream cards by category, a smaller place for clips and a more visible “Create” button.
Navigation — “Following” becomes the home page it already was in practice, “Discover” and “Browse” merge into one page, and private messages move into the bottom bar.
Browse page — categories that open subcategories (e.g. Games → trending games) to filter content in one place, and tiles for recommended creators.
Landscape view — less space for chat and streamer details, and a custom positioning feature so viewers, including left-handed ones, can arrange the layout their way.

Visual design
Buttons borrowed from Twitch’s web version for consistency across platforms, and rounded tiles to soften the overall look.

Next steps
A quick, humble exploration: it would need proper user testing before any real-world use.
